The Samsung Galaxy Nexus comes to Sprint on April 22 for $199

The world’s first Android 4.0 device will become available to Sprint customers starting this Sunday April 22. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be sold for $199 on a two-year contract. If you pre-order the device now, there’s a chance you’ll get it in the mail this Friday ahead of its official launch.

The Galaxy Nexus will continue to be a 4G LTE device on Sprint even though the carrier hasn’t publicly activated its LTE network yet. When the network does launch, the Galaxy Nexus will benefit from Sprint’s unlimited LTE data service.

Sprint also has a bonus offer for interested persons. If you get a Galaxy Nexus and activate a Google Wallet account within one week of each other, you’ll get a $10 credit. You’ll also get an additional $40 credit a few weeks after activating Google Wallet. You’ll have to find the appropriate establishment that accepts Google Wallet in order to make use of the credit.

A Nexus phone is your safest bet in getting timely updates for the next year or two. This is the phone for you if you want a stock experience without needing to do any rooting.
