Recently OUYA started a ‘game jam’ called CREATE which, in reality, is a bit more of a development competition more than an actual game jam. Regardless of how you want to look at it, OUYA has been offering up $45,000 in prizes across different categories for great games submitted by developers for the OUYA console.

It is time for the first giveaway of many to come this week with our week long giveaway craziness we are holding. We are going to start off by giving away two $25 Google Play Gift Cards to a couple of lucky winners for doing pretty much nothing at all. Entering this giveaway is real simple.
Polarbit is a renowned developer in the world of mobile gaming, not the least due to their Reckless Racing series which is a fan favorite. Glu Mobile has just announced that a sequel to their rather popular top-down arcade shooter Gun Bros will be arriving soon on Google Play. Appropriately named Gun Bros 2, Glu Mobile has decided to announce this sequel by releasing a cinematic trailer for this upcoming game.
Ngmoco has announced that they will be shutting down four of their games permanently. While three of these games are not on Android at all, one of them happens to be on Google Play and has been for quite some time and has between 500,000 and 1 million downloads. That means there is a decent amount of people on Android who play We Rule that will soon lose the realms they have created.
Rovio’s pig-centric physics-based puzzle game Bad Piggies looks like it will be getting a new content update soon or at least that is what the company is hinting at over on the Bad Piggies Twitter account. In a tweet earlier this morning, in true Rovio fashion, the company tweeted a teaser image regarding what looks to be an update called Road Hogs.
It looks like nVidia could have much bigger plans then they let on during CES 2013. During that show the company revealed quite a few new products such as nVidia’s GRID cloud game streaming service, their GeForce Experience (mostly for PC gaming), Project Shield and their new Tegra 4 chipset. Well that might not be the end of it there either, at least according to the Russian tech site Mobile Review.
The second piece of Minecraft: Pocket Edition news isn’t as detailed as this morning’s earlier article but it is almost as excited for fans of the game. For those of you patiently waiting for the 0.6.0 update to arrive, you will only have to wait a couple more days before you will be able to download the update, craft some armor and put up signs all over the place.
