Wargaming.net is responsible for the World of Tanks MMO as well as the upcoming World of Tank Blitz mobile version of their tank combat game which is heading to Android soon. The company is also working on what was once called World of Warplanes. A similar game called War Thunder by Gaijin Entertainment is now in a US open beta for the PC version of the game and the company is now working on a mobile version for it as well.
While details are still pretty limited on what War Thunder will come with, it could very well be around the same style of game as World of Tanks Blitz will be. For those of you unfamiliar with World of Tank Blitz, it is a smaller version of their PC MMO game World of Tanks but it will still offer up 7-vs-7 multiplayer PvP battles, a fair number of tanks for players to use and high-end 3D visuals.
If the mobile version of War Thunder is similar to this, we can expect plenty of planes and aerial dogfighting PvP action to be heading our way in the near future. However, development just started on this so it will be awhile before War Thunder is released onto Android.
