Gameloft and Fox Entertainment seem to have a pretty nice relationship going in regards to bringing movie spin-off games to mobile and the two companies are once again teaming up for another game that will be heading to Android and iOS soon called Epic. This particular game will be based off of the upcoming animated movie of the same name.
The movie itself is being done by the same studio that made the Ice Age and Rio movies so Epic should be pretty good and will be arriving in theaters on May 23rd, 2013. As for the game, there isn’t a whole lot of details just yet on what it will all come with. What we do know is somewhat limited.
Players will be put into the Epic world, interacting with various characters from the movie. You’ll be in charge of growing your own forest kingdom and battling it out against the Boggans. The combat is action-based with 3D graphics and animations so Epic will be a little bit of city building and a little bit of action gaming.
So when will Epic be available for Android gamers? The game is slated for release this month in time with the movie’s release so we can expect it to arrive sometime around May 23rd.
