While Nvidia’s handheld gaming system called Shield is an Android-powered device, it is geared towards gaming both with Android games as well as PC games. However the device, which runs Android 4.2, can be used as a normal Android device as well for pretty much everything else as well.

Ouya looks to be getting some love from the famous blue hedgehog thanks to Sega announcing plans to bring a few Sonic The Hedgehog titles over to the Android-powered console soon. Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 1, Episode 2 and Sonic CD will all be making their way to Ouya shortly.
Everyone has been waiting patiently for the 0.7.0 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition to arrive for Android, having had to wait on the iOS version to get approved by Apple before we are graced with the update. It’s been about a month of delays due to bugs and whatnot as well but the wait is over and the 0.7.0 update is now available for download.
A rather popular board game called Ticket To Ride has made its way to Android today and comes complete with online gameplay so you can play against other people from around the world. For those of you unfamiliar with this game, Ticket To Ride is sort of like Monopoly but themed around railroads instead of properties.
Madfinger Games has officially announced the sequel to Dead Trigger, appropriately named Dead Trigger 2, and have gone ahead and released a few screenshots as well as a trailer showing their new game off. We’ve already had the pleasure of getting a hands-on with an early build of the game back during CES 2013 and it was already looking real good back then.
