The next Dragon’s Age game could be coming to mobile soon

Electronic Arts is apparently going to be releasing another Dragon’s Age game soon but this time it will be a sort of spin-off game for mobile devices called Heroes of Dragon Age. While there isn’t a whole lot of details right now regarding this game, there are a few details available to share about Heroes of Dragon Age.

First and foremost this will be a free-to-play game and is currently in development by EA Capital Games which, if you follow gaming news somewhat closely, used to be BioWare Sacramento. Apparently players will be putting together squads of characters, whether they be actual heroes or monsters, that are from the entire Dragon’s Age lore.

Since this is a free-to-play game, players will probably be able to earn different heroes and monsters, as well as different rarities of each, through victories in the game or through IAPs, sort of like booster packs for a TCG. Heroes of Dragon Age is also detailed as a cross-platform mobile game so an Android and iOS release looks to be on the horizon as well as multiplayer in some form.

Judging from the first screenshots, it looks like the game will be animated and almost play like a physical tabletop style of game similar to Warhammer. The difference will be that you have a set number of heroes/monsters you can have in a squad.

When more details are released we will be sure to post an update.
