So far ZeptoLab is known for their puzzle games that they have released, the major one being the Cut The Rope franchise and to a lesser extent Pudding Monsters. However it looks like the company is branching out of the puzzle genre with their next game which is called King of Thieves.
The announcement came via the company’s YouTube channel where they posted a rather short teaser trailer along with a brief description of the game itself. King of Thieves looks to be a mash-up of a few genres including Tower Defense and Platformer but with multiplayer PvP added to the mix as well. In fact the multiplayer aspect of the game is actually more along the lines of a massive multiplayer title.
There isn’t a whole lot of details about King of Thieves right now and the official website for the game doesn’t have anything either. There is a new Twitter account for the game where ZeptoLab will be posting additional details over time as the game gets closer to be finished and released.
For now we will have to settle for the short trailer and little details. As for when King of Thieves will arrive, all that is being said is that it will be coming ‘soon’ and for free.
