Noodlecake’s newest release is Shooting Stars and it’s now available for download

Noodlecake Games newest title called Shooting Stars has now been published onto Google Play. Shooting Stars has players taking on aliens who have disguised themselves as a variety of celebrities. Get it? Shooting Stars? Anyways… this is a pure arcade shump (shoot ’em up) game with a varied of game modes to play through.

Shooting Stars is a shump title that borders on being a Bullet Hell type of shooter. Aliens have decided to wage war in an attempt to take over our planet, disguising themselves as celebrities like Justin Belieber, PewDerPie, Kanye East, cats, etc etc. If it is a part of the current internet culture, it is likely that an alien has taken that form. Even though this is a shump, there are roguelike elements in this game as well, keeping it different each time you play it.

Shooting Stars Features:

– over 20 “celebrity” bosses
– challenge your friends in a global and daily highscore battle
– collect up to 50 amazing ultimate attacks and superfoods
– stack superfoods for ultimate destruction
– two different game modes
– 16 beautiful collectible cards
– thrilling soundtrack with stunning sound effects
– weird and funny satire on pop culture
– every game will be totally different
– ride a freakin’ hoverboard
– Achievements & Leaderboards
– Rainbow Unicorn Approved

Shooting Stars features two different game modes: Card Hunt and Daily Challenge. Card Hunt is a randomly generated adventure where you are tasked with collecting cards for some of the sweetest things available in the game. Cards are dropped randomly from bosses in each stages. Each play through is different with random bosses, weapons and super fruit drops. The Daily Challenge is all about showing off your laser cat skills to your friends. Every day a randomly generated seed is created for everyone in the world to play together. This means the same weapon drops, bosses and fruits will appear for everyone.

For those of you interested in picking up this game, Shooting Stars is available now on Google Play for $0.99, which is a sale price celebrating the game’s launch on Android. There are no IAPs either. When the sale ends in two weeks, the price will go up to $2.99. You can also check out the game in action via the trailer below.
