Bandai Namco has released a brand new trailer for Tales of Crestoria, which is an upcoming mobile-exclusive entry in the franchise.
It’s a whopping five minutes long and details many of the game’s characters, systems, and more.
Tales of Cresteria Appears to be a Pretty Standard Gacha RPG
What we’ve gathered so far is that the game features a bunch of returning characters from previous entries in the franchise.
You’ll explore the world, encountering the various different characters, with those from Tales of Phantasia, Berseria, Symphonia, Hearts, and more making an appearance.
The combat system doesn’t seem to be present though, with the action being primarily turn-based. The special effects are just as dramatic though.
We’re also a little concerned by how much it looks just like a bog-standard gacha RPG. The usual character rankings and chapter-based progression looks all too familiar.
