Nintendo Reveals Date for Mario Kart Tour Multiplayer

Nintendo has tweeted the date that multiplayer will finally come to Mario Kart Tour.

“Multiplayer for #MarioKartTour comes out on Mar. 8, 8 PM PT!” reads the tweet.

“You can compete against seven other players, whether they’re in-game friends, nearby, or around the world. Are you ready to play?”

We’re pretty sure that’s a rhetorical question, though Twitter is an open platform and you’re welcome to respond.

Beta Safe Than Sorry

Multiplayer has been a glaring omission from Mario Kart Tour since launch. A couple of betas have taken place since the the game hit the shelves back in September, one for subscribers and another for the public at large, and now the mode is here for real.

You can download Mario Kart Tour for free right now on Google Play. And you should probably get on that right now if you want to compete with the hordes of players set to stampede towards the servers on March 8th.
