Who doesn’t love doing a good sport? Throwing? Running? Sweating? Those are all things that happen in sports. And thanks to modern technology, you can do all of those things without getting off the sofa. There are lots of sports games on the Play Store, so we thought it’d be a good idea to whittle them down to the best of the best. And that’s where this list comes in. In our feature of the best Android sports games we’ve picked a number of different games representing a number of different sports. They’re all really good.

You can click on the name of the games below to go and download them from the Play Store. And if you’ve got your own suggestions, let us know in the comments section below.

The Best Android Sports Games

On with the rankings!

NBA 2K Mobile

NBA 2K19 2K

An impressive, fully featured basketball game replete with the full rosters of the current season. Lead a player from rookie to superstar or take control of the running of a franchise and lead them to the top.

Retro Bowl

A magnificent mix of old school gameplay and management. You’re picking the players, upgrading your stadium and throwing the passes that can take you all the way to the Retro Bowl. It’s addictive in all the right ways.

Golf Clash

A multiplayer golf game with some slightly crazy twists. There’s a lot of fun to be had here, and the golf itself is actually pretty tight. Pick your clubs and your balls and try and take down your golfing enemies.

Cricket League

A quick-fire game of cricket that sees you batting and bowling against opponents from across the world. It’s got some neat mobile twists to it and it’s hard not to jump back in for another game, whether you win or lose.

Madden NFL 26 Mobile Football

If you’re looking for a more modern and realistic take on American Football, this is the game for you. It’s got all the stars, all the teams, and all the modes you need to while away a good few hours. 2026 takes the place on our list from the 2025 entry, though this is less that we think it’s necessarily an all-over upgrade, and more that the listing has, in fact, been replaced.

Tennis Clash

A casual multiplayer tennis game that you control with just a few swipes. It might not be super deep, but it’s going to sink its claws into you pretty quickly if you let it.

EA Sports Mobile Football

A mobile take on the beautiful game. There are teams from all over the world, thousands of players, and all manner of other options. Plus, kicking the ball around is just a whole heap of fun.

Grand Mountain Adventure

Feeling more Winter Olympics-inclined? Then try out Grand Mountain Adventure or its sequel. You have freedom to explore the mountain how you want, but plenty of content to test your abilities.

Bowling Crew

For a completely different sport maybe take a look at Bowling Crew, a vivid and nice-looking bowling game with options to play with other bowlers all over the world. There are weekly leagues if you want to test your skills, too.

Table Tennis Touch

A brilliant take on one of the least impressive sports on this list. There’s a brilliant rhythm to the play, training options and loads more. It’s almost impossible not to fall in love with this one.

Subpar Pool

The strategy of pool without the embarrassment of fumbling an attempt to use the cue while pub patrons judge you. (Maybe that’s just me.) Try to angle your shots and master ricochet physics across a ton of procedurally generated levels.
