Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier Download Live Now

Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier is the month’s second big battle royale release, following on from the launch of PUBG: New State last week, and you can download it from the Play Store right now. One slight hitch – you can’t play it yet.

As we reported at the start of the month, the game’s launch date is November 17th, which is tomorrow. But you can download and install the game right now, you’ll just have to wait to do anything until the servers go live.

Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier is a battle royale game set in the years before FF7. You play as a recruit to the Soldier program, battling it out across iconic locations from the original game.

There are different classes to choose from, you can ride Chocobos across the map and even use summons to deal massive damage to your foes. The game has controller support as well.

If you want to pre-install the game before the servers click on tomorrow, you can poke here to grab Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier from the Play Store right now.

Whether this strategy might help the game avoid some of the server issues that have plagued PUBG: New State remains to be seen. You can find out more about Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier at its official website right here.
