Kabam has released a new trailer that shows off a couple of new additions to the roster of its smash-hit fighting game, Marvel Contest of Champions. So that’s cool.
These newbies aren’t part of the Summoner’s Choice vote that we reported on a few weeks back, but they do have a special shield and a robotic arm. There’s Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Misty Knight.
They’re part of a new story arc that involves Galactus destroying Hell’s Kitchen and Misty creating a a safe haven called Safe Haven for the heroes and villains who’ve been displaced. Here’s the trailer.
The new champions are part of the version 33.3 upgrade to the game, which also features some tweaks to the gameplay, some new stuff on Mojo TV and some free crystals.
