We told you a while back that the Apex Legends Mobile soft launch was about to kick off. And now it has kicked off. So if you live in one of a pretty short list of countries, you can have a crack at the hero-shooter battle royale on your phone or tablet.
Those countries are, in no particular order – Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Colombia.
The game is still in its testing phase, obviously, so you won’t be getting the whole shebang, but you’ll be able to try out some of the modes, characters and a bunch of other stuff.
The soft launch is running on both iOS and Android, and you’ll need to pre-register for the game to be in with a chance to actually join in. So it’s kind of like a closed beta soft launch? Does that make sense?
