Point-and-Click Adventure Voodoo Detective Launching Later This Month

If you’re hankering for some hand-drawn, classic point-and-click adventuring, then we’ve got some good news for you. Because Voodoo Detective offers all of those things and it’s coming to the Play Store later this month.

The game is set in the 30’s on an island called New Ginen and sees you playing as the titular detective. There’s a dime-store novel vibe here, as well as plenty of comedy and puzzling to get done.

And like we mentioned already, the game is hand-drawn, so it looks pretty darn awesome to boot. If only we had a trailer to share with you. Oh, wait, we do. Here it is. Neat.

There’s also an impressive voice cast, featuring actors who’ve appeared in a whole swathe of other games and movies. Like Mass Effect, Fallout, Star Trek and Austin Powers. To name just a few.

We’re getting hefty Monkey Island vibes off the whole thing, which is never something to complain about. And it promises plenty of whimsy and intrigue, which are two of our favorite things.

Voodoo Detective is set to land on the Play Store on May 24th. Which should mean you’ll be able to play it a week from today. That’s hardly any time at all, when you think about it.
