Diablo Immortal Out Now, No Cross-Server Play

Diablo Immortal has finally landed on the Play Store. The servers are live, it exists, you can download and play it right this second. The prophecy has been fulfilled. Or something like that.

However, there’s something you should definitely be aware of before you download the game and start playing, and that’s that it uses specific servers. Think of it more like an MMO than a traditional Diablo game.

What does that mean in practice? Well, if you’re playing on one server and your friend is playing on another, you can’t join up and crawl dungeons together. It’s not the end of the world, but it does mean you’re going to have to coordinate with your friends if you want to team up.

This was all confirmed in a tweet by the Diablo Immortal Global Community Lead Adam Fletcher, which you can read by clicking here. The gist is – things might change in the future, but right now there’s no server cross-play in Diablo Immortal.

If you still fancy giving the game a go, you can click here to download Diablo Immortal from the Play Store. It’s free with IAP and you’re going to need around 12GB of space on your device to install it completely.
