Malware is nothing new for Android users to deal with, and mobile users in general for that matter. In fact all platforms have their issues with Malware. However there is a new one out there that is currently masquerading as an emulator for Nintendo games. What’s even worse is that it basically makes you pay for it, and then proceeds to steal your data at the same time.

Recently the latest installment into the Geometry Wars series was released onto mobile, much to everyone’s joy. The developers have since been working on an update for Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions already and players will soon be seeing that update arriving for the Android version some time next week.
A new minimalistic arcade game is available on Google Play called Nocturne Heights from developer MotorCookie. The visual style of this game is interesting because it gives the impression that you are in an overhead perspective. The way the dynamic lighting happens certainly makes it feel that way.
Vivid Games has announced that they will officially be unveiling Real Boxing 2 at this years Gamecom show. For those of you not familiar with this franchise, Real Boxing was released not too long ago onto mobile devices and features some pretty impressive eye candy in regards to the game’s visuals. This is a good thing since it’s probably the best boxing game available for mobile devices.
If you’re a big Star Wars fan than you pretty much want everything that is related to the franchise. Well Disney has released a companion app for the entire franchise in order to make it easier to follow everything relating to Star Wars as well as some other interesting features like a full sound board to play with. You will even get notifications on your phone the moment a big announcement is made, so you can read all the details right away.
Last week saw the release of The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief on Nvidia’s gaming-on-demand service called GRID. Since we get a new game each week, that means we have a new one available now and this week’s game happens to be the 2D head-to-head brawler BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger.
Madfinger Games has announced a new version of their third-person multiplayer shooter Shadowgun: Deadzone that will let users create their own game content for everyone to play. Officially titled as Shadowgun: Deadzone GM Edition, the GM part stands for Game Master’s Kit, which will allow users to make new maps, modify weapons and characters, and basically let players create their own game elements as well.
Puzzles are a good way to kill time and number puzzles are one of the more preferred types of puzzles to do that with. There is a new puzzle game out on Android called Griddition and while the premise of this particular puzzle game is simple enough, actually getting far in it can be quite a challenge.
