Kemco, a company known for releasing retro-style RPGs onto Android, have released their first app for Android Wear. The app is called Carbonic Watchface and it is pretty much like the name suggests, a carbon fiber looking watch face for your Android Wear.
Sega is bringing the monkeys back as well as plenty of balls to go along with them with their newly announced title Super Monkey Ball Bounce. This new game will feature AiAi and the rest of the monkey gang as they attempt to destroy the evil machinations of the evil Prof. Boscis.
Zen Studios has released a new table for their Zen Pinball platform which is themed around The Walking Dead franchise. Just like the original games, this new pinball table will actually have moral choices you need to make as your progress through the game. This is done by hitting certain areas in the table to make your choices. This is easier said then done of course.
Activision has released a sequel to Wipeout onto Android today. Appropriately named Wipeout 2, this new sequel features plenty of big balls for everyone to play with. Well to be honest there is more to this sequel than balls.
One of the original games, which also happened to be one of the first titles to be successful on the Ouya console, has received a new expansion today called Towerfall: Ascension. This new expansion comes with over 50 new arenas to fight your way through, murdering your friends along the way.
Back in May of 2014 Youtube/Google and TwitchTV struck a deal for a $1 billion purchase of TwichTV which led to the subsequent integration that now exists between Youtube and TwitchTV. Here we are three months later reporting on Amazon inquiring TwitchTV. Definitely one of those things that makes you go hmmm isn’t it?
SNK Playmore has been steadily releasing ports of some of their most popular franchises and games in their catalog onto Android for awhile now. This includes the King of Fighters franchise, the Meta Slug franchise, the Raiden franchise and so on. With glowing hues reminiscent of the movie Tron and a pulsating soundtrack, Unpossible by Acceleroto spun into the Play Store today. Acceleroto has two other titles in the Play Store, Invasion Strike and Die in a Fire. I became aware of Acceleroto a few years ago when they produced the enjoyable endless runner game Rush City for iOS. Unpossible is a mind-bending, environment swirling, aesthetically pleasing game that will challenge your skills. It fits right in line with brutally difficult games like Wave Wave, Super Hexagon and most recently Duet. If you played Impossible Road and enjoyed it, you will be right at home with Unpossible.
Last week the newest Humble Mobile Bundle was launched with six pretty decent games. As with all Humble Bundles, a week has passed and now there are three additional games that have been added to it. These three new games are Carmageddon, Time Surfer and the somewhat unusual Llamas with Hats Cruise Catastrophe.
A new game is heading to Android soon called Doppler from My Go Studio. This little indie game will have players trying to maintain a connection between two points, across a line, while moving. This will test your patience and ability to stay focused for as long as you can. Especially since this line isn’t straight and happens to be moving and those two points are not fixed either.
