11-Bit Studios is gearing up to release what will be the last chapter in the Anomaly series called Anomaly Defenders. Originally this game was released onto Steam back in May of this year and we had hoped that the Android version would also launch at around the same time. Unfortunately that didn’t happen but the wait appears to be ending soon as 11-Bit Studios has announced that Anomaly Defenders will be landing on Android next week.

A new endless running game has arrived onto Android called R.G.B. from Invictus Games. This isn’t your standard endless runner though as it features game mechanics similar to that of Guitar Hero. You have three rows, each with their own little character running on them. Each row can have one of three colors appear on itl and when a color comes up to one of your characters, you have to tap there on the screen to swap the correctly colored character to that row.

You may see a few articles floating around other websites right now about a developer who suffered a rather big defeat with one of his other games, called Retro/Grade, but is taking another stab at it with a new psychological horror game called Neverending Nightmares. Currently up on Kickstarter for additional funding as well as Steam Greenlight for voting, Neverending Nightmare is partly based on Retro/Grade creator Matt Gilgenbach’s own experience in dealing with mental health and the dark place he was after Retro/Grade.
Halfbrick’s Age of Zombies to get six updates in a short period of time to kick of Zombie Month
Halfbrick’s rather fun game Age of Zombies will be getting six updates pushed to it over the course of a short time period, that being a month. This is to kick off Zombie Month which is now apparently a thing. The first of these six updates has arrived today and it adds some pretty good new features to the game.
With rumors of a purchase between the two companies floating around last week, today the announcement has been made official that Microsoft will be purchasing Mojang for a mere $2.5 Billion. There are a few reasons for the sale but one of the main ones if that Notch has wanted to work on smaller projects and running a company this size, which he never though he would be doing, isn’t allowing him to work on these smaller projects.

Namco Bandai releases the next evolution in their virtual pet franchise called Tamagotchi Classic 2nd Gen
Namco Bandai has released the follow-up title to their Tamagotchi virtual pet game released back in October of last year. Appropriately named Tamagotchi Classic 2nd Gen, this new game features an all new line-up of characters to have as virtual pets. Along with all the new characters that you can possibly take care of, Tamagotchi Classic 2nd Gen features two different game modes to play like the original title had as well: TOY mode and APP mode.
Google has come to an agreement in the current case they have been involved in where a case was filed regarding IAPs that were unfairly charged to their parents credit cards from a variety of games such as Ice Age Village (Gameloft) and Air Penguins (Gamevil). According to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission children sometimes put hundreds of dollars on their parents’ credit cards without permission.
A new game heading our way will put players into the role of being a bartender in a cyberpunk world. This new sim game is called VA-11 HALL-A and you will be mixing drinks that your customers want before standing there and talking to them about whatever it is they want to talk about. This could be anything from politics to how much their lives suck or how awesome their new house is. Pretty much any subject in other words.
A 16-year old indie developer going by the studio name VG Games has released a challenging new arcade title called Gravity Flipper. VG Games is a one-man studio made up of 16-year old indie game developer Vik Goel and this being his first game, it is actually quite the little challenge.
