Last month we talked about three games that were currently doing a location-based soft launch that people in the areas it was being hosted in should check out. One of those games was a collaboration between Disney/LucastArts and Nimblebit called Star Wars: Tiny Death Star. Well this game has finally made its way to Android and is now available for download.

Chillingo has released their latest offering to Android gamers in the form of Max Steel in partnership with Mattel Toys. This particular game comes with a combination of endless runner and action-arcade gameplay all themed around the Max Steel world.
Square Enix has decided to release a rather interesting looking game called Pictlogica onto Android in Japan. This particular Puzzle-RPG is actually a spin-off of their Final Fantasy franchise and looks like it features the more retro-style of visuals and not the remake style that the past few Final Fantasy releases have had.
We don’t usually post about Android devices going on sale mainly because there are plenty of other sites out there that cover this sort of thing. However once in awhile there is a sale so good we just have to post about it and that happens to be the case today with LG’s G2 Android phone on Amazon going for $199 for a limited time. Did we mention this is the Verizon and AT&T’s off-contract price?
Over the course of the last month or so we’ve talked about the next Rayman-themed game heading our way from Ubisoft called Rayman Fiesta Run. This game is considered the official sequel to their rather popular game Rayman Jungle Run and now this sequel is available on Google Play for download.
Bulkypix has Lone Wolf heading our way soon but in the meantime the company has a rather fun looking multiplayer combat game called Meltdown that will be making its way to Android tomorrow. Players will take charge of their space marine of choice before heading out into a platform filled world littered with robots and other enemies to worry about.
The recently released multiplayer FPS game Neon Shadow from Crescent Moon Games and Tasty Poison Games has made the jump from standard Android devices over to the Android-powered game console Ouya today. This FPS game takes inspiration from some of the more old school games in this genre like Doom but wraps it all up in a cyberpunk theme instead.
For those of you heading to Blizzard’s BlizzCon 2013 convention, or just happen to want to check the event out and watch the live streams from your Android device, the official companion application is available on Google Play for free. This app includes a ton of features including live streams of the opening ceremony and other events that will be taking place during the convention.
Gameloft has begun teasing another upcoming game called Tank Battles for Android and iOS. While we don’t know a whole lot about this game, Gameloft has released a few screenshots that show what we can sort of expect from this game when it is released.
Last week we reported on GungHo Entertainment teaming up with Warner Bros to have what we considered to be one of the weirdest cross-over events in mobile gaming. The event brought Batman: Arkham Origins character to GungHo’s widely popular Puzzle & Dragons game for players to battle and collect. Now another event has been announced which is almost as weird as this one but this time it’ll be GungHo Entertainment teaming up with Rovio.
