At the end of the week there’s nothing we like better than rounding up the best games that have landed over the past seven days on the Google Play Store. And this week is no different.
We think it’s fair to say that this week isn’t going to go down in the annals of history as the greatest week of new Android games. It’s not even going to make the top thousand. But there are some decent titles that should hopefully tide you over until next week.

Murders on Budapest
A murder mystery set in a strange mansion during a snowstorm. After a hiker turns up dead, it’s up to you to figure out whodunnit. The game changes depending on the choices you make, and it’s got a rich vein of humor running through it.
Flea Jump
A quick-fire endless jumper where you’re playing a flea munching its way through the innards of some unknown beast. There’s blood to collect, creatures to avoid, and a tricky control scheme to get to grips with. It’s a great way to fill a few minutes here and there. This one’s free with ads and IAPs.
Sliding Seas
This one’s an excellent match-stuff puzzle that sees you moving tiles around to rescue shipwreck survivors. It’s always adding new ideas and there’s a charm to the experience that makes it difficult to put down. It’s free with IAPs.
Tsuki’s Odyssey
An idle adventure game starring an an adorable rabbit. There are shades of a virtual pet here, but Tsuki is a wilder spirit than that and wanders off and does things on their own. This is cute and adorable and will probably put a smile on your face. Another one that’s free with IAPs.
Impossible Isles
A puzzler that gives you daily challenges. You’ve got tiles and some simple rules and you need to build a map with them. It’s going to stretch your brain in all the right ways, and you’re going to enjoy every second you’re playing it. You guessed it – free with IAPs.
