Update 8.5 just arrived, and that means another shot at unlocking some free Gems, Rerolls, and a few exclusive items. Fortunately, we’ve written this Anime Vanguards update 8.5 codes guide to help you hit the ground running.

Anime Vanguards Update 8.5 Codes Guide
First, we’ll cover the active codes, then the rewards you get. Finally, we’ll explain how to redeem codes.
Working Codes
The current working Update 8.5 codes are:
- LateUpdate (Over Level 30 players only.)
- AngryMan (Over Level 30 players only.)
- InnocentAnger
All the codes come from the official update release logs, and were working at the time we made the codes guide. Some codes expire after a certain amount of time, so we would advise redeeming this as soon as you get the chance.e
Code Rewards
Now here’s the fun, but what can you expect as a reward for the codes? We’ve got the prizes listed below.

- 100 Trait Rerolls
AngryMan
- 20 Trait Rerolls
InnocentAnger
- 5000 Gems
- 20 Stat Chips
- 5 Phoenix Shards
How To Redeem Codes
Here are the instructions to make the codes work.
- Jump into Anime Vanguards and load into the lobby. (Don’t join a game yet!)
- Hit the teal-coloured book icon on the right side of the screen to open your Profile.
- In your Profile, hit the purple Codes button to the left of your character picture to open the Codes window.
- In the new Codes panel, enter the codes into the text box.
- Hit the green button marked ‘Redeem Codes’.
- If the code is correct, and if you’re the right level for the code, you should see your rewards flash up on the screen. You can tap again to dismiss this screen.
