Version 8.5 is here, and a bunch of new content just arrived in-game. We wanted to make sure you didn’t miss anything, so we’ve put together this Anime Vanguards Update 8.5 guide to run over everything added so you can just go and get started.

Anime Vanguards Update 8.5 Guide
We’ve divided this up into different sections where you can find what you’re most interested in.
New Units
Four new units arrived with 8.5.
- Brolzi Super
- Lord Friezo
- Rogita
- Wolf Resurrection
New Dungeon
- Frozen Volcano (Dragon Ball X themed.)
- Beast Boss Friezo when he appears to get Dragon Balls.
Worldlines
Progress for Worldlines is once again reset for the new season, with Wolf Resurrection the new unit prize. Reach Floor 50 to get hold of this new special unit.
Player Rewards
Both new and returning players can look forward to some exclusive rewards.
- New Players – If you’re new to Anime Vanguards, you should see a new rewards calendar to help you speed through the early game.
- Returning Players – If you haven’t played Anime Vanguards in over 3 weeks, hop back in for a special reward to help you get back into the swing of things and not feel too left behind. Life happens.

Minor Changes
- You can now toggle familiars on or off.
- Modifier Cards got a visual rework.
Rebalances
- Rework on Reimu’s luck passive.
Fixes
- Several unit interaction glitches fixed.
- Fixed Gligamesh King Of Heroes passive.
- Fixed Quetzacoatl’s passive.
- Various UI fixes.
- Fixed different events and stages appearing when they should not.
- Fixed Ruined City Raid Act 1 getting Act 2 scaling on a replay.
