Clover Retribution Alpha Wolf Guide
The Alpha Wolf is an Elite Mini-Boss… and elite it is! It is a difficult battle, however the rewards are worth it.
During Battle
When you attack the Alpha Wolf, it summons two more smaller wolves to support it in battle. To make things worse, the Alpha Wolf will howl to apply Fear. Once triggered, this status effect stuns the player who becomes unable to move for the duration of the effect.
Quests
Two quests offer you the chance to fight the Alpha Wolf. The first is one of the Main Quests, which requires you to enter two boss battles. First, you must kill the Alpha Wolf, giving you 400 EXP and 300 Gold upon completion. After this, you must kill Vennum, where you will be rewarded with 700 EXP and 400 Gold.
The second way is the Defeat Wolves/Defeat the Alpha Wolf quest. If you defeat 10 wolves, you will get 365 EXP and 250 Gold. After defeating the Alpha Wolf, you will be given 400 EXP and 250 Gold.
Drops
Besides receiving EXP and Gold, you also have the chance to obtain the following items through drops:
- Alpha Wolf Scarf (Accessories)
- +5 CON
- Wolf Slayer (Title)
- +6% Damage against enemies that are not bosses
- Lupine Shadow Plate (Armor)
- +5 CON
- +5% Damage Reduction against damage
- Alpha Wolf Hammer (Weapon)
- +7 Bludgeoning damage
- Wolf Fur (Misc)
- No known buffs
- Soul Fragment (Misc)
- Recovers 25% of devil mana
- Soul of Wisdom (Misc)
- Recovers 15% of devil mana and raises your devil’s level by 1
