Dig It Black Hole Shovel Guide – Obtainment
First, head to the new miniature island off the coast of Nookville named the Launch Site. This area offers a small diggable terrain with several materials and equipment needed to build a rocket ship. By speaking to the Mingus (Neil) NPC, you can view how many of each item is required to craft a fully functional ship.
You need to complete the spacecraft build to reach the Moon. Simply deposit all items and launch! When on the Moon, find the UFO, which hovers above a small mound of land. The UFO will drop aliens onto the hill when a player is in range.
When an alien is close, leap into the air and aim to land on their head to squish them into the soil. This makes the alien diggable, and when they’re unearthed, they’ll become Alien Goo.
Now, find the Merchant NPC near the pods on the moon. Facing the Merchant rests the Black Hole Shovel which costs 2,500,000 C$ and 90 Alien Goo. Players must also be level 200+ to purchase this tool.

Alongside its excellent stats, the Black Hole Shovel has a passive which attracts the movement bar to the treasure line during the digging minigame. So, whilst digging, you essentially have an orbit which treasure naturally feels compelled by and drawn to. That’s some accretion disc!
