Challenger’s Deep is an icy set of caves that make up the second layer of Mariana’s Veil. Let’s go into some details about it first, then cover its bestiary.
Challenger’s Deep Info
The second layer of Mariana’s Veil is accessed below Volcanic Vents, only after unlocking the first submarine upgrade there.
Like Volcanic Vents, temperature is a feature, but unlike Volcanic Vents, you can do something about the cold as soon as you arrive. If you’ve got the Winter Cloak, available on Northern Summit, you can equip it to stop your temperature falling at all. This gives you plenty of time to fish and find parts for the next sub upgrade.
