Fisch Minish Guide
First let’s explain how to find Minish, the how to do what he wants.
About Minish
Minish is an NPC who appears around Harvester’s Spike. He’s essential to the Brick Rod Quest. Unlike most NPCs, Minish isn’t always there. He only appears in certain conditions. We’ve listed them below.
- The Season must be Summer.
- The time must be Night.
- The weather must be Foggy.
You can change the time of day and the weather using totems, but you’ll need to wait for Summer to arrive, as it’s the same across all the servers, with seasons changing every few hours. If you meet all these criteria, you should see Minish, a purple ghost-like entity, standing on the shore.
Minish’s Quest
Minish asks you to do several different tasks, but he’s a little bit cryptic about it. Let’s decipher what he’s asking.
“You must rest in the rocks of the desolate.”
This means you need to set your spawn point to the one in the Desolate Deep. That means the Desolate Pocket, to be exact.
“You must utter the incantation first.”
You need to find a code hidden in the Trident Temple and send it through the chat.
“Your alias fails to distinguish itself…”

“Bring me a fish of many poisonous spines…”
You need to bring Minish a Pufferfish, and interact with him while holding it.
After you do these, and interact with the different bricks scattered around the map, the path to the Brick Rod should open.
