Seemingly overnight an Oil Rig sprang up to the North of Roslit Bay. This peculiar structure seems rather out of the ordinary and is no doubt hiding future secret updates… In this Fisch Oil Rig article, I tell you the mysteries found here and how to climb to the top!

Fisch Oil Rig – Climbing The Rig
Located at -1824, 131 and -446 (Port) is a newly discovered Oil Rig. It’s seemingly empty for now par for the odd NPC, cement bag and blueprint. But, in its isolation we’ve already gotten hints for future updates!
There are two ways to climb the Oil Rig, the quick way and the stylish way… For the quick way, simply walk into the black rope that extends upwards near the Shipright NPC and you’ll automatically begin climbing it to the upper level. As for the cool way, (and longer way), climb up Roslit Volcano as high as you can manage and use an Advanced Glider to soar onto the metallic top floor!
Top Floor Secrets – Potential Update Theories
First, located near Construction Jim, a blueprint resting on a crate displays a building with a large fish on top. When speaking to the NPC, he says the blueprints feel ‘off’ and then ponders why the fish has a fin on top. Unless… it’s not a building!
Assuming the Rig is temporary, this area could host a new micro-island. Similar to how The Harvester and The Arch work. Or, it could be a moving island, think the Baratie from One Piece but larger and not a boat. Unless it is a boat… I’m just theorising.
There’s another blueprint between both Scientists in front of a whiteboard on a small table. This one depicts a fish-shaped submarine (Polar Tang reference). Pretty self-explanatory, this one seems to suggest Submarines being added in a future update. If I had to guess, I’d say they’d fit nicely into Mariana’s Veil.
Mariana’s Veil – Scientists Squabble
Now for this, you’ll have to trust my thought process. Dr Glimmerfin is back and on top of this Oil Rig, alongside a new companion, Dr Crookspine. He complains that Dr Glimmerfin gets all the praise whilst his inventions are largely ignored.
This could suggest a pretty intense head-to-head that may unfold during the Mariana’s Veil update. I say this since the description tied to the Roblox countdown reads “Atlantis was only the beginning. The world of Fisch descended into chaos when the truth about the Lost City was revealed. As secrets surfaced, reality began to warp, drawing the world into the enigmatic shadows of the unknown.”
Evidence of this chaos can already be seen on Roslit, with pools of lava bubbling up in places where it hasn’t existed before. Maybe Dr Crookspine utilizes the chaos to try and one-up Dr Glimmerfin, plunging players into the Marianas Trench with a brand-new fish submarine!
