Fisch Brick Rod Quest – How To Unlock and Stats!

It all began on Discord where the DEVs were using a suspicious amount of brick emotes in their talks. Now, players are on the hunt to complete the Fisch Brick Rod Quest. In this article, I tell you all the hints we know so far, and if I think this thing is even real…

The DEVs shared a video of Creek Craft talking about the Brick Rod, with the main hint takeaway being “To obtain it you must complete that quest from that one NPC at that one island on the map.”

Following this, YouTuber RFG shares a 12-minute-long video of his venture to find this rod where the DEVs got involved, showing off the Brick Rod and giving him plenty of false hints. However, one DEV who goes by the name Green not only showed off their own Brick Rod but wrote in chat “THE BRICK ROD IS REAL” in Morse Code.

Of course, this could be a troll, and ultimately I think it is… As of publication, no regular player owns the Brick Rod. It is most likely a myth amongst regular players and a Developer-only Rod. We know of several DEV Rods, none of which are obtainable to the general public.

But, given the unusual circumstances around this rod in particular, it may become a released rod in due time. The Discord Community and various YouTubers are all in on the Brick Rod hunt, chatting with random NPCs, and discovering locations and areas of intrigue.

I hypothesise that the Brick Rod will reveal something similar to the Forsaken Levers. Players noticed the levers a few updates before the Atlantis Update but they had no real purpose until its release. If the quest is implemented, there will likely be a few updates from now on. So, let’s just be patient…

January 30th, 2025 Update – Brick Locations

Overnight, the Fisch DEVs rolled out a quiet update without any major hotfixes or commentary. However, since then, players have stumbled upon 3 (potentially more) white bricks scattered across the map. Each brick is interactable, and clicking all three leads to a message appearing in the Trident Room and at Moosewood.

  • Brick Locations:
  • Roslit Volcano
    • Climb Roslit Volcano, heading to the very top and head East along the thin stone path. Around the bend, the first white brick leans against the wall.
  • Ancient Isle
    • Head into the room where the Phoenix Rod and Eclipse Totem are for sale. Along the wall of that cave is the second brick.
  • The Depths
    • The final brick (for now) has been found in The Depths. Head Southwest from The Depths Merchant and drop down the rocks to find the brick in the corner.

As for the messages, after each brick has been interacted with, players have noticed a numerical code inside the Trident Room on the wall, and a lettered message at Moosewood on the rocks just beneath the waterline behind the Tutorial NPC. Still, this all leads to nothing as of yet.

January 31st, 2025 – It Exists! Full Quest Walkthrough

I wanted to keep the other update logs surrounding this bizarre Rod, so I apologise that you had to scroll through tons of waffles to reach this point. But, I’ll cut right to the chase and tell you how to obtain the Brick Rod in Fisch.

  • First, you must click on each Brick. I told you where to find each one in the previous section.
  • Next, set your spawn in the Desolate Deep.
  • Purchase a Sundial and Smokescreen Totem.
    • Obtained from the cave at Sunstone Island and Mushgrove Swamp behind the Alligator pond for 2,000 C$ each.
  • Visit the Trident Room and note the numerical code inscribed on the wall.
  • Ensure you have one of each title: (They aren’t all required, but one of them will be to enter the Brick Room)
    • Extinct
    • Vigilante
    • Lady of the Sea
    • God of the Seas
    • True Hakari
    • Made in Heaven
    • Chosen by Zeus
    • Poseidon’s Blessing
  • Sail to Harvesters Spike during a Summer rotation (Near Roslit Bay) and use the Totems to make it a Foggy Night. (They aren’t needed if these conditions are already happening)
  • The Minish NPC will spawn under these conditions. He works as the gatekeeper between the player and the Brick Rod Room and only teleports the player into it if they have the following:
    • Desolate Deep Spawnpoint
    • Correct Title (Changes Hourly) – Check below for the timeframe!
    • The Trident Room code (written into the chatbox)

Brick Rod Stats

If all requirements are met, the player will teleport into the Brick Rod room where the Rod sells for 13,337 C$. It has the following stats:

  • Lure Speed: 0%
  • Luck Boost: 75%
  • Control: 0.35
  • Resilience: 35%
  • Max KG: Infinite

Alongside its weak stats, it has a 100% chance to apply the Studded Mutation which makes fish appear made of LEGO.

Titles Change

As mentioned, the Title requirement changes hourly. As of discovery, the order is as follows:

  • Extinct – 9 PM UTC
  • Vigilante – 10 PM UTC
  • Lady of the Sea – 11 PM UTC
  • God of the Sea – midnight UTC
  • True Hakari – 1 AM UTC
  • Made in Heaven – 2 AM UTC
  • Chosen by Zeus – 3 AM UTC
  • Poseidon’s Blessing – 4 AM UTC

After this, rinse and repeat.
