About Transylvania
Transylvania is a new island added in Update 9. It’s a foggy, haunted place where zombies and lost souls roam. It’s also home to the following new features you might find especially interesting.
- The Altar to resurrect Ba’al.
- The hell portal that leads to True Demon Ba’al.
- The Dullahan fighting style trainer.
Reaching Transylvania
Finding Transylvania might sound daunting but it’s not too bad when you know how. It’s in the First Sea so you can technically access it from any level, though you might need to be creative with your jumping if you don’t have any moves that extend your jumps. (It is possible through the rock piles and ledges though, we checked.)
The easiest way to reach Transylvania is as follows:
- Head to Shell’s Town. It’s North North West from the Town Of Beginnings, but you’ll encounter this island in your early game quests, as you’re directed there from Sandora.
- From the Shell’s Town dock, sail West.
- You should pass Baratie’s Restaurant and Orange Town as you travel.
- Eventually, you’ll come across an island. The weather will start to turn foggy. This is Transylvania.
