Grow a Garden Bee Balm
Despite its name, the Bee Balm doesn’t provide any buffers to the Bees during the Bee Swarm event. Instead, this crop takes inspiration from a real-life counterpart also known as Monarda.
To get this limited-time crop, you’ll need to take part in the new crafting mechanic. In short, you must mix certain plants, and spend a little Honey, and in return, you’ll create a new seed.
The Bee Balm requires a Crocus, a Lavender, and x10 Honey, and takes 15 minutes to craft once the recipe has been inputted.
- Crocus Plant
- 40% Chance from the Crafters Seed Pack or crafted using x1 Flower Seed Pack and 10 Honey.
- Lavender Plant
- 3x Honey from the Honey Shop.
- Honey
- Obtained by handing Pollinated crops to the Honey Combpresser NPC next to the Queen Bee.
Is The Bee Balm Worth Crafting?
It’s by no means a meta seed, taking a backseat to the Sunflower, Candy Blossom, Dragon Pepper, etc. However, this multi-harvest plant creates pretty pink trumpet-shaped flowers, and sells on average for 16,250 unmutated.
Considering it’s relatively easy to craft, I recommend obtaining the Bee Balm, as even though it isn’t highly profitable, it adds to your garden’s aesthetic, especially if you prefer the building and cosmetics that Grow a Garden now has to offer.
The Bee Balm is also limited, so if you miss your chance now, you can say goodbye to it forever…
