The Grow A Garden Corrupted event drops this weekend, with new content to enhance the Zen event. What do we know? What do we expect? That’s what we’re here to talk about right now.
You can play Grow A Garden on Roblox. If you’re interested in the other mysterious event coming this weekend, take a look at our article on the Grow A Garden Celebrity Guest.
Grow A Garden Corrupted Event – What Do We Know So Far?
Update 26th July – Update Released!
The Corrupted Event is out! There are two big things added that you need to know about.
Corrupted Channeller
This new NPC wants specific fruits with either Tranquil or Corrupted mutations. (Think Angry Plant.) If you get him what he wants, he will give you one of various rewards.
- Zen Egg
- Chi
- Corrupted Zen Crate
- Corrupt Staff
- Mutation Spray Tranquil
- Mutation Spray Corrupt
- Tranquil Staff
- Zen Seed Pack
- Corrupted Kodama
- Enkaku
Balance Kitsune
Sat between the two Channellers, this Kitsune requires five Corrupted fruit and five Tranquild fruit. Once you’ve handed both over, you’ll receive a Kitsune Crate, which can net you one of the following rewards:
- Maneki- Neko Pet
- Dezen Plant
- Kodama Pet
- Lucky Bamboo
- Corrupted Kitsune Pet
- Tranquil Boom Plant
What Official Info Do We Have?
If we want to find out anything about the content of the new update, the first thing we need to look at is the Discord announcement and Roblox event page, which reads:
“The Zen event expands with lots more content to explore! A corrupt channeler has arrived and Tranquility is fading, you must help bring and restore balance! Discover and play the Corrupted event! Unlock brand new seeds, pets, items, features, weather, and so much more!”
So that means there will be an extension on the Zen event, with new plants, pets, and perhaps some new events, too.
Our Speculation
So beyond here is just stuff that we think might happen, based on what we have found, and how things have played out before.
Above, you should see an enhanced version of the promo image for the event. It seems to depict an NPC with the same model as the Zen Chaneller already present, but the tree he’s sat under is red, while the one in the game currently is white. There’s also a gong, but no Tanuki shop. This makes us suspect that the update will bring a second Zen Tree, a ‘corrupted’ version that you will also need to grow for prizes, to match your regular Zen Tree, if the update is all about ‘balance’.
