How To Get A Grow a Garden Mimic Octopus
The Mimic Octopus hails from the Paradise Egg with a slim 1% hatch chance, making it the rarest of this egg type. During egg restocks every half-hour, the Paradise Egg has a 7% restock chance and costs 50,000,000 S$ to obtain. Once placed, the egg takes 6 hours and 40 minutes to hatch.
So, what does this rare pet do?
Mimic Octopus Ability
Using the Mimicry ability, the Mimic Octopus copies the ability of another pet every 20 minutes, automatically triggering it. This means that the Mimic Octopus is only as valuable as the pets currently roaming your garden.
Note: The Mimic Octopus only copies pets you already own that are currently active in your garden. It chooses from those at random. The Mimic Octopus doesn’t copy other players’ pets, or ones you own in storage.
How Is It The New Raccoon?
Well, given its ability, you essentially have a pet that can become a Raccoon. That is, if you already had one to begin with. The Mimic Octopus is a great way to have more fruit bandits on your team who scrounge high-rarity, sought-after crops from other players.
So, if you missed out on making a full team of Raccoons, now is your chance! The only issue is, you need to have at least 1 Raccoon for the Mimic Octopus to… well… Mimic it.
