Grow a Garden Raccoon Overview
The Raccoon only appears in the Night Egg, which is exclusive to the Lunar Glow Event in Grow a Garden. It has a 1% hatch chance, making it the rarest pet from this limited-time egg, and therefore highly sought-after.
The Raccoon’s ability allows it to run into a neighbouring garden every 15 minutes and duplicate a random crop, and bring it back to its owner.
Unlike the Steal Crop one-time-use gamepass, the player whom the Raccoon targets doesn’t lose their original crop, nor does it cost Robux to gain the free crop.
Is It The Best Pet From The Night Egg?
It’s certainly the rarest, but does that make it the best? Well, it depends on how you prefer to play Grow a Garden.
If you primarily play in a private server to stop other players from stealing your crops, then the Raccoons skill has no effect. Similarly, if you play public but end up in an average server, the Raccoon will often steal low-tier plants that don’t make a lot of money.
However, if you land on a wealthy server, having a Raccoon is a great way to passively profit from other players’ hard work.
That said, one of my favourite pets from the Night Egg is the Mole, which is a little easier to hatch, having a 22% obtainment chance. This pet digs every 80 seconds and unearths either free Gear or Sheckles. So, even if you don’t get the money-printing Raccoon, you can still earn a pretty penny with the help of the Mole whilst also getting free tools!
The Raccoon Method
In the right hands, this pet is overpowered! If you enter a private server and set up your garden and an ALT account, you can guarantee an overpowered plant duplication. Simply have your ALT account only grow one crop and allow it to mutate. Then, join a private server with your ALT and stay as long as necessary until you have an abundance of high-value stolen crops.
