Grow a Garden Sunflower Seed Obtainment and Overview
Added in the Bizzy Bees event, the Sunflower is the new chase crop. This divine rarity seed hails from the Flower Seed Pack, with a very slim 0.5% roll chance. This unique crop is multi-harvest, but only produces one flower at a time, being the main head of the Sunflower.
Initially, when the game dropped the Sunflower, a harvest of this crop would sell for 200,000 on average, the highest of any other plant! However, this was soon nerfed, and the Sunflower now sells for around 135,000 unmutated, the same as the Moon Mango and Mushroom.
Is The Sunflower Good?
It isn’t the best plant in Grow a Garden, but the Sunflower is a sought-after seed for a reason. This high-yielding plant looks impressive and sells for a ton, especially when left to naturally mutate during events. So, yes, the Sunflower is a good seed.
However, in comparison to the Candy Blossom, the Sunflower simply doesn’t compare. A single Sunflower is worth more than a Candy Blossom, but the tree produces around 6-10 Candies, compared to the single Sunflower. So, if you have a Candy Blossom, you’re still using the meta!
How To Earn Honey
Each new hour at XX:00, the Bee Swarm event begins. During this, the sky turns yellow and bees will leave their hive from the centre of the island to travel to different gardens and pollinate their crops. Take the pollinated crops to the centre of the map and exchange them for Honey.
To create 10 Honey, you must give 10kg worth of Pollinated crops. Their rarity doesn’t matter, so be sure to choose the handover order carefully to strategise getting the most Honey for your plants!
