- No Mutation: x1
- The humble and basic fruit… 98.9% of crops grow without a mutation.
- Golden Mutation: x20
- 1% chance to occur naturally when a plant grows. Gold plants also appear when influenced by the Dragonfly buff.
- Rainbow Mutation: x50
- 0.1% chance to occur naturally.
Environmental Mutations
- Wet Mutation: x2
- Chance to mutate during Rain and Thunderstorm Events.
- Chilled Mutation: x2
- Chance to mutate during Frost Events, or from a Polar Bear.
- Windstruck Mutation: x2
- Occurs during Windy Weather.
- Moonlit Mutation: x2
- Chance to mutate during the Lunar Glow event, which happens hourly.
- Sandy Mutation: x3
- Occurs during a Sandstorm.
- Clay Mutation: x3
- Happens naturally if a plant mixes Wet Mutation with Sandy Mutation.
- Bloodlit Mutation: x4
- Chance to mutate during the Lunar Glow if it transforms into a Blood Moon (every 4 hours).
- Twisted Mutation: x5
- Occurs when a plant gets caught in a Tornado.
- Drenched Mutation: x5
- Given to crops during Tropical Rain.
- Frozen Mutation: x10
- Chance to mutate during the Frost event. Only happens to already Wet plants; otherwise, they’ll adopt the Chilled mutation.
- Acidic: x12
- During Acid Rain
- Oil: x15
- During Oil Rain or via pets with the Oil Mutation trait.
- Spaghetti: x15
- Combine the Meatball, Sauce, and Pasta mutation on one crop.
- Tranquil: x20
- During Zen Aura, or any pets with the Zen Mutation trait.

- During the Corrupt Zen event, or any pets with the Corrupt Zen trait.

- Combine windstruck and twisted mutation, or the Pterodactyl pet.

- Occurs during a Heatwave. Can be redirected using a Tanning Mirror Gear.
- Aurora Mutation: x90
- Small chance for plants to develop during an Aurora Borealis.
- Paradisal Mutation: x100
- Replaces both Verdant and Sundried on a plant.
- Shocked Mutation: x100
- Obtainable if plants get struck by lightning during a Storm Event.
- Celestial: x120
- Chance to mutate during a Meteor Shower.
- Meteoric: x125
- Meteor Strike or Lobster Thermidor pet.
Event Mutations
- Pollinated Mutation: x3
- Bees will pollinate crops at random during the Bee Swarm event. Also applied by most pets from the Bee Egg.
- Aromatic: x15
- Applied via the Cooking Storm, or through pets that carry the Aromatic Mutation trait.
- Dawnbound Mutation: x150
- SUNFLOWER ONLY. Occurs when 4 players each hold a Sunflower to the Sun God during the Sun God event.
Sprinkler Mutations
- Chocolate Mutation: x2
- Plants become chocolate-covered with the use of a Chocolate Sprinkler, available during the Easter 2025 Event.
- Honeyglazed Mutation: x5
- Obtained by using a Honey Sprinkler or a Honey Bear.
- Cloudtouched: x5
- Using the Cloudtouched Mutation Spray or Hyacinth Macaw.
- Verdant: x5
- Using the Verdant Mutation Spray or Scarlet Macaw.
Pet Only Mutations
- Sauce: x3
- Applied by the Spaghetti Sloth.
- Meatball: x3
- Applied by the Spaghetti Sloth.
- Pasta: x4
- Applied by the Spaghetti Sloth.
- Verdant: x4
- Applied by the Scarlet Macaw pet with a 16% mutation chance.
- Burnt: x5
- Applied by the (Unreleased) Red Dragon pet or the (Now Unobtainable) Burnt Owl pet.

- Small chance of Cloudtouched occurring with the Hyacinth Macaw Pet. Or, when using the Spray Cloudtouch Mutation item.

- Applied by the Raiju pet after devouring a Shocked mutated fruit.

- Applied by the Raptor pet initially. This Mutation develops into Old Amber (x30 Value) after 24 hours in-game, and Ancient Amber (x50 Value) after 72 hours with Old Amber.

- The Chicken Zombie pet has a 20% chance every 30 minutes to mutate a crop with Zombified.

If you’re curious what the most profit you can make from a single sale is, me too! So, let’s get into it.
Mutations stack, but some cannot overlap, such as Rainbow and Gold, as well as Wet, Chilled, and Frozen. For example, a Wet fruit can have the chance to adopt the Frozen Mutation during a snowstorm event; otherwise, only Chilled will be available.
This means you cannot have chilled and Frozen fruit simultaneously. So, to work out the most profitable mutations, we need to only take the highest value overlapping mutations. That leaves us with:

How To Increase Mutation Chances
Fortunately, there are a few ways to influence your chances of mutating crops. This includes:
- Leaving Them Be
- The longer you leave a plant unplucked from your garden, the greater the chance it has of developing natural mutations as weather events occur.
- Events
- Similarly to the first one, when a weather event happens, stay logged in! If you stick it out, plenty of your crops should develop a mutation.
- Sprinklers
- Buying certain gears increases the mutation chance, growth speed, and produce size of plants.
- Pets
- Some pets, like the Dragonfly and Polar Bear, have the chance to apply mutations to crops within your farm.
