They’re bad news for a picnic or a beach trip, but might be good news for your garden profits. The bee’s meaner, slimmer cousin just arrived, and we’re eager to tell you all about the Grow A Garden wasp and what it has to offer.
You can play Grow A Garden now on Roblox. If you’re interested in one of the other waspy customers, check out our Grow A Garden Tarantula Hawk guide.
Grow A Garden Wasp – Is It Good?
What Does The Wasp Do?
Like the other black and yellow flying pets in the game, the Wasp can interact with crops, giving them the Pollinated mutation. This increases their value, though more importantly, it makes them usable to make honey at the honey machine, and be potential quest items for the Bizzy Bear quests.
That’s not all, though. From time to time, the Wasp chooses violence, and stings one of the other pets. Don’t worry though, this is actually beneficial. Stung pets restart their own ability cooldown, letting them use their active abilities again immediately.
How Do You Get The Wasp?
The Wasp is the most common pet to hatch from the Anti-Bee Egg. This red and black striped pet egg is only available through the crafting mechanic.
You’ve got a pretty good shot at getting a Wasp from an Anti-Bee Egg.
Is The Wasp Good?
The Wasp is a straight upgrade from the Bee if you want something that pollinates but also does something else. Its ability to pollinate crops is comparable to the regular bee, but it brings the handy bonus of refreshing the pet cooldowns from time to time. This means it’s going to still stay a bit relevant beyond the Bizzy Bees event. (I mean, the Pollinated mutation is fine for a bit of extra value, but probably not worth one of your precious pet slots on its own.)
It’s not as good as the Queen Bee, or the Tarantula Hawk, but it’s a solid pick until you get one of those.
