The new update is here, but our excitement is dampened a little by the loss of nights, falling stars, and our favorite way to cash in. Is the Celestial Mutation gone in Grow A Garden? Time to look into it.
You can play Grow A Garden now on Roblox. If you’re interested in hearing about the latest stuff, maybe check out our Grow A Garden update guide.
Is The Celestial Mutation Gone In Grow A Garden?
Update: The Night Events are officially back in Grow A Garden and take place every 4 hours. Each Night Event comes with a chance of a Meteor Shower, and the Celestial Mutation.
What Is The Celestial Mutation?
The Celestial Mutation is a mutation that plants get after the garden is hit by a falling star during the Meteor Shower event. The impact leaves all plants in a radius around the impact point with multicolored sparkles around them.
More importantly, it makes them much more valuable. In fact, it’s the most valuable mutation in the game outside of the ones you can only get from admin events. (Disco, Plasma, Voidtouched, etc.)
So, for obvious reasons, a lot of players are pretty attached to Celestial.
What Happened To Celestial?
The Bizzy Bees update ended Night events, as the Lunar Glow limited event ended in favour of the honey-themed one we have now. This meant Nights and Blood Moons no longer happened each hour.
Meteor Showers only occur at Night, or during Blood Moons, and no Meteor Showers meant no Celestial crops. Sad times for everyone in the Grow A Garden playerbase.
Is Celestial Coming Back?
That was the bad news. The good news is, Celestial is making a comeback! Jandel, creator of Grow A Garden, announced on the game’s official Discord that he would be bringing Night and Meteor Showers back to Grow A Garden very soon, in response to community feedback.
When Will Celestial Be Back?
Update: The Celestial mutation is back! Night events now happen every 4 hours.
We can expect Celestial back very soon! According to Jandel’s post, he’s hoping to reinstate the events within the next day or so!
We do expect the Night events to be less frequent, as the Bee Swarm now takes the hourly slot, and we don’t imagine we’ll get the Twilight Shop back, but it will mean getting those sweet, sweet Celestial crops back into our lives.
