In this guide, I’ve done exactly that, listing all of the characters that are male and everything you need to know about them. Reverse 1999 is a time-hopping gacha RPG that sends you back to the 20th century. You travel to each decade, recruiting famous and notable characters, and adding them to your party. You then have to send them out into battle, levelling them up, and looting new gear to make them more powerful. That allows you to tackle the more challenging endgame content.

The following is a list of all of the male characters that you can currently unlock in Reverse 1999. However, it does include characters that are inanimate objects, like an apple and a door. I’ve included them as well, given that the gender isn’t clear.

How Many Male Characters Are There?
As of launch, including the characters that we know will arrive in future banners, there are 18 male characters currently available in Reverse 1999. However, a few of these characters are objects like a door, so it’s not actually clear if the genders are accurate.
Also, just to be clear, not all of the characters above are currently available in Reverse 1999. I’ve included characters that I know will arrive at some point, but aren’t currently in the global version.
