Tiny Bookshop is coming to mobile! Developer Neoludic is publishing the cosy narrative management game on Android, dropping it on July 9th. It was released last year on Steam and Nintendo Switch first, followed by Xbox Series X/S.
Tiny Bookshop is set in a fictional seaside town where you manage a mobile bookshop
The protagonist leaves a busy city life behind to run a tiny second-hand bookshop from a trailer in Bookstonbury-by-the-Sea. You can fill shelves with everything from poetry and pulp novels to mysteries and rare books.
Meanwhile, customers look for recommendations that match their interests. Sometimes the right answer is giving someone exactly what they asked for, while other times it’s convincing them to try something completely different.
As you travel around the scenic coastal locations of Bookstonbury, you’ll meet a quirky cast of locals. You’ll build friendships, help the community, and become part of the town’s story. The once-thriving town has seen better days, but its residents are determined to revive it, and your tiny bookstore becomes part of that effort.
Apart from selling books, you can explore the town’s history and investigate places like the Castle Ruins. You can also wonder about the mysterious St. Bookston, collect stamps and other items, discover hidden secrets, and learn why each location attracts a different crowd of readers.
There are many customisation options
You can park the trailer shop at scenic locations throughout Bookstonbury and decorate it however you like. Fill it with plants, or create a spooky candle-lit atmosphere. Every item you collect affects customers and can even introduce new gameplay mechanics. Plants, fairy lights, and other decorative pieces all help shape the personality of the little shop.
Tiny Bookshop Mobile arrives on the Google Play Store on July 9th for $7.99. The game is already available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
