Tales of Tanorio Update Guide
First and most important is the Shiny Event Weekend taking place from the 16th-17th of March. During this event, shiny odds across all Tanorians increase by 1.5x. Generous! This is the time to utilize your chaining to get the shiny Tanorians you want the most.
Adding to the shiny talk. A new cutscene is going to be added to indicate a shiny encounter in the wild. This cutscene has the same animation as the normal encounter screen, except for an array of rainbow stars included in the leaf toss.
Remaining on the shiny topic, chain hunting has received an update. Chains now directly use the species bonus modifier, which means higher-tier Tanorians are worth more per chain than lower grades. Every 20 Chains will generate Tamer EXP in this update.
Trading VS PvP
Over in the Tales of Tanorio Discord, a hosted poll asked which should be released first, Trading or PvP. At the time of writing, Trading was leading the poll. The likelihood indicated that Trading will come before PvP, possibly in this update.
