Hollows? Shinigami? Or a secret third thing? Well, not all that secret. Quincies are the third faction of Type Soul, and Bleach. Powerful humans who can perceive the supernatural happenings, and manipulate the energies of Reiatsu. If you’re stepping into their ranks, you’ll want to rise to the top, right? Type Soul Quincy Progression Guide
Right, let’s cover each stage.
Starting As A Quincy
To start as a Quincy, you need a free save slot. Start it, and select Quincy from the available options. If you don’t spawn in Wandenreich immediately, you can use your Key skill from your skill menu, or just swap to a Wandenreich server.
Once you’re there, start doing missions. Create a Party, even if it’s just you in the Party, and go to one of the noticeboards around the map to queue for a mission. You should get teleported to a group of Hollows you need to kill. This should help you work your way up the Grades. Your grade should show next to your name on the player list.
Getting Your Schrift
Once you reach Grade 2, you are ready to acquire your Schrift, which is a special extra set of powers. You’ll need to speak to the angel statue at the end of the Wandenreich Bridge, which asks you to prove yourself worthy. Its mission is essentially a hitlist of members of your opposing factions.
You need to kill members of all types of Hollows aside from Vasto Lorde, Arrancars, and Soul Reapers multiple times to advance. This means heading to the Soul Society and Hueco Mundo to do it.
- Kill 5 Fishbone Hollows.
- Kill a Menos Hollow.
- Kill an Adjuchas Hollow.
- Grip a Soul Reaper Player.
- Grip an Arrancar Player.
If you die in the process, your progress resets, so stay cautious. It’s maybe best to tackle the tougher enemies like the Shinigami and Arrancar.
Head back to Wandenreich to enjoy your new powers.
Getting Your Vollstandig
The next stage is trickier. The Vollstandig is the more powerful version of the Schrift. You’ll need to be Elite Grade to attempt it. Then you need to complete the same requirements as the Bankai for Soul Reapers, and Full Res for Arrancar. It has two stages.
For the first stage, you can do one of these three…
- 7 Clan War Wins
- 26 Ranked Duel Wins
- 13 Raid Wins
For the second stage, you need to do all of these.
- Kill Bawabawa or Jindabo
- Kill 80 Hollows
- Score 15 Elite Grips on Soul Reapers or Arrancar. (Other Quincies don’t count.)
Finally, for the third stage, speak to the NPC at the top of Wandenreich Castle to begin your final trial. Pillars of light will fall from the sky. You need to hit your block right as they appear to parry them away. Keep doing this every few seconds and eventually the round should end, giving you your Vollstandig.
Letzt Stil
To acquire Letzt Stil, you need to reach Elite Grade as a Quincy. Then you need to use 10 Hogyoku Fragments. This will grant you Lzt Stil. This gives you a new form, access to Heilig Pfeil, and is a prerequisite for True Hogyoku.
You cannot have Letzt Stil AND a Cybernetic, so choose carefully.
