What Do We Know About The 99 Nights In The Forest Bat?
What Is The Bat?
The Bat is a new entity for 99 Nights In The Forest, along similar lines to The Deer, The Owl, or The Ram. We can safely assume, like the others, it’s going to provide a threat after dark during the game.
Did The Bat Hurt The Deer?
We suspect that The Bat is responsible for The Deer lying injured near your camp. Why do we suspect it’s The Bat?
- The Purple Fur Tufts around the area. Previews we’ve seen of The Bat show is appears to have purple fur.
- Footprints leading into a new structure called The Bat Cave. You can also find more Purple Fur Tufts around the cave entrance.
Is The Bat In The Game Yet?
Yes and no. The Bat cannot spawn at night and attack you yet. You can see at least some of it in-game, though. If you approach the Bat Cave and look inside, you’ll see some eyes staring out. That appears to be The Bat.
When Will The Bat Be Added To The Game?
The Bat is set to arrive in the next update, which is scheduled for the 22nd of November. In the meantime, you’ve got the injured Deer to deal with.
