2K Games has released a second card-based sports game onto Android today. Their first one was WWE SuperCard which was released some time ago, and this new one is based off of hockey and is called NHL SuperCard 2K17. Players will be building their own hockey team from all of the NHL players, making a sort of superstar team.
Once you’ve created your first NHL team with the players you have access to, you’ll need to train them as well to increase their stats and skill sets. After your initial training, you can hit the ice and compete in a few different game modes such as exhibition games, as well as playing through an entire season. There’s also a Quick Game mode in case you just want to do a match but have the results actually matter, unlike an exhibition game.

Training players includes improving their stick handling, playmaking, overall focus, and skaking skills to name a few examples. Players can also partake in different Rivals Events where you will pick a side and compete against your opposing side for points, with the winners getting rewards. NHL SuperCard 2K17 features more than 400 collectible cards, with each card being one of seven different rarity levels.
Like any card-based games, players are able to buy booster packs of cards through optional IAPs as well. This also means that you can download NHL SuperCard 2K17 off of Google Play for free.
