After launching Metro Quester – Hack & Slash on Android a couple of days ago, KEMCO is already back with another. It has opened pre-registration for Alphadia III, the next instalment of the Alphadia series.

It’s a remake of the original third game from 2009, built now using Unity and rebuilt for mobile. It already came out in Japan in October 2024, and now it’s finally heading to global audiences.

It’s a Retro RPG

Alphadia III brings a deep fantasy tale with pixel graphics and plenty of throwback turn-based action.

With a philosophical twist, the game is set before the events of Alphadia I.

You’ll see a world still torn apart by the Energi War. This was a time when people were obsessed with grabbing hold of life energy, Energi, and war was everywhere.

Take a look at the new pre-registration trailer that KEMCO dropped for Alphadia III.

You play as Alphonse, an energi clone, who starts out just following orders. But after a devastating moment, a girl named Tart tells him that one of his companions died. That’s when he starts to question everything.

Alfonso’s journey is the emotional core. He ponders upon what it means to be human, if he even is human, and whether the endless fighting has any purpose.

There are three last nations surviving: Schwarzschild Empire, Nordstrom Kingdom and the Luminere Alliance. They are all facing off in the final chapter of the Energi War.

Pre-Registration Is Open for Alphadia III

You can pre-register for both the premium and freemium versions now on the Google Play Store. The official launch is right around the corner, which is May 8th, 2025. The game is optimised for controllers, while the premium version comes with 150 bonus Comet Stones.

Alphadia III also brings some fresh mechanics, like Arrays, the Energi Crock system and SP Skills. You can turn your ship into a seaplane, take on missions and arena battles, and trade Energi Elements as well.
