Back in the day if you were a kid then having a View-Master was sort of like having the ‘thing to have’ that every kid wanted. Mattel recently brought the View-Master back into the spotlight by making it into a Virtual Reality headset. While this new version of the View-Master was decently priced already, both Amazon and Wal-Mart have lowered the price of it to under $20.
The View-Master Virtual Reality headset is based off of Google’s Cardboard headset, and will fit most Android phones. It supports 360-degree viewing and all you have to do is pop the Preview wheel in and you’re good to go.
The Starter Kit comes with 1 View-Master VR viewer, 1 Preview Reel, a user guide, and for iOS users, 1 adapter for iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s. If you’ve wanted to pick one of these up, now is definitely a good time to do it. These sales are, of course, for a limited time.
