Arcanox: Cards vs Castles leaves beta testing and is now globally available on Android

Juhu Games has been working on an interesting little game called Arcanox: Cards vs Castles for awhile now. Actually it isn’t really a little game at all and having tried out the beta for awhile now, Arcanox can be pretty fun to play as well. Now that it is out of beta and globally available on Android, everyone can now grab a copy and try it out.

Arcanox: Cards vs Castles is a sort of hybrid game, blending some TCG mechanics in with a castle offense/defense type of game, then adding in some MMO elements to round it all out. Essentially you have your own castle, which you build up with different items such as vaults for collecting gold, bookcases to do research for upgrades, and defensive units to protect your castle. Players also have offensive units in which to invade other people’s castles with. A successful raid on another person’s castle can land you some pretty nice loot.

Arcanox Features:

– Enjoy unlimited thrilling PvP and singleplayer battles for FREE
– Construct a unique deck with over 300 minion and spell cards
– Build an unconquerable fortress
– Improve your defense with game-changing enchantments
– Surprise attackers with devious traps
– Optimized for smartphones and tablets
– Easy to learn but difficult to master

For those of you into single-player content, Arcanox has plenty of that available as well. However, after that is all done, the meat of this game is the multiplayer portion. As you progress through the game in either mode, your castle will grow in size. This means more space of upgrades but more areas to possibly be invaded by other players, so you will need to add more defenses as well. Considering the amount of monsters and items available, there are plenty of combinations possible for both offense and defense. The MMO portion of the game comes in the form that everyone’s castles in multiplayer are accessible/visible on the world map.

Arcanox: Cards vs Castles is available off of Google Play for free and while it does contain optional IAPs, there is nothing that can’t be earned eventually just by playing the game.
