Grove Street Games and Snail Games, along with Studio Wildcard, has dropped a fresh update for ARK. It’s a pretty major upgrade for ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition as it now has the massive Ragnarok expansion map. If you’ve been a regular player, it’s worth checking out.

The Ragnarok Map Makes ARK Mobile Edition More Vast

The Ragnarok expansion map is 144 square kilometres of prehistoric terrains. There are new biomes, terrifying creatures and one particularly dangerous volcano. ARK is also throwing in a little romance with the Love Evolved event which is running until February 16th, 2025.

Now, let’s talk about what makes Ragnarok such a beast of a map. It brings towering mountain peaks, sprawling forests, deep winding caverns and an active volcano. It also introduces some wild new creatures, like the Ice Wyvern, Dire Polar Bears and the legendary Griffon. A Griffon comes with a dive-bomb attack that lets you rain down destruction from above.

The Ragnarok map is included with the ARK Pass in the Ultimate Mobile Edition. If you don’t have it, you can still pick it up as a standalone purchase. Either way, you’re in for an adventure that mixes elements from The Island and Scorched Earth.

What About the Love Evolved Event?

Surviving in a world full of prehistoric predators becomes easier with romance. For the first time on mobile, you can dive into a romantic event in the game. It offers exclusive cosmetics and Valentine’s-themed candy and chocolates.

It also brings boosted rates for harvesting, taming, experience, and breeding. So, check out the game, get the map and explore. Head over to the Google Play Store to grab it.
