KEMCO has released a new RPG called Astral Takers, and it’s out today on Android. The game lets you summon monsters and command squads. Yep, that’s basically it. You summon, summon and summon!

What’s the Story in Astral Takers?

The story kicks off with Revyse, a young person training in Summoning under his mentor, Master Volgrim. One day, he runs into Aurora, a girl who’s lost her memory. Things get complicated fast and the story takes an unpredictable turn.

In Astral Takers, as I mentioned above, you’ll be unlocking the power of Summoning to take on intense enemies. You’ll be doing so while dealing with trials and battles.

Yes, summoning is a big deal in this game. Revyse can summon heroes from another world using things called Echostones.

The whole idea is to put together a solid team. You can have up to eight heroes in total, each bringing something different to the fight. But only four can jump into a dungeon at a time.

The battles in Astral Takers are turn-based. You can also see what your enemies are planning to do next. So, swapping party members mid-fight or using skills that exploit enemy weaknesses is a must.

What Else Can You Do in the Game?

You’ll be crawling through dungeons looking for treasure chests stuffed with gear and gold. If your equipment feels outdated or wrecked by some bosses, you can trade your loot for better gear. Or you can simply pull out and regroup.

If you like playing with a controller, Astral Takers is optimized for that. It’s available on Android for $7.99. Check it out on the Google Play Store.
