Ayaneo has introduced its first Android gaming devices during GDC 2025 in San Francisco one of which is the Ayaneo Gaming Pad. Ayaneo is a Chinese company of handheld gaming devices. Founded in 2020, it initially gained attention for its Windows-based handheld gaming PCs.
Over the years, Ayaneo has expanded its product lineup with some decent gaming hardware, including Android-based devices. Now, let’s give you the scoop on the new Android gaming devices that Ayaneo just unveiled.
What Are the Two New Ayaneo Android Gaming Devices?
They are the Ayaneo Gaming Pad, an Android gaming tablet, and the Ayaneo Pocket S2, a new handheld. Both devices are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform, making it one of the first to use this hardware. It’s said to offer notable improvements in CPU and GPU performance over the previous generation.
The tablet has an 8.3-inch LCD screen with a 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Snapdragon Game Super Resolution. Wi-Fi 7 connectivity is included for faster and more stable online gaming.
The Ayaneo Gaming Pad has a glass back and a CNC-machined metal frame. It also comes with a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP front-facing camera. These make it one of the few gaming tablets to include higher-end cameras.
Alongside the tablet, the Pocket S2 is an Android handheld with a 6.3-inch 1440p display. It features an upgraded Hall-effect joystick, linear triggers and dual X-axis motors for haptic feedback.
The handheld comes with Ayaneo’s proprietary gaming software, AyaSpace and AyaHome, for game management and customization. This one also relies on the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform. It improves energy efficiency and performance while enabling features like hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
